Topic of the week : Children are a blessing

Hi, this week I’m going to talk about how children are a blessing.

Verse of the week:

Psalm 127:3-5
“Children are a heritage ( heritage means something that comes or belongs to one by reason of birth, for those of you like me who may not know what it means off the top of your head).
Okay, let me start that again.
“Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior so are sons born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man who whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies at the gate.”

Here is the story of how I came across that scripture. I really wanted to write about how children are a blessing because I knew that’s what the bible says, so I was thinking to myself, “Man, I cannot find any verses on how children are a blessing”. Well, the next morning (today) I flipped open my bible to a random page and BAM!! There it was!! AWESOME!

Well, since I’m really young and don’t have an children of my own I am going to try take better care of my little sisters. I want to spend more time with them and help them and ask them what they want to play. I want to do these things because when you learn something from the Bible you should try to think of ways to change what you do so that it matches with the Bible!
